My advice to self respecting Black voters, and others, across ideologies is this—dump Joe Burden at the polls
Fellow fighters, I come to you today as an opinionated brother who has opposed Joe Burden (no typo) since his spectacularly disrespectful mistreatment in 1991 of then-US Supreme Court Justice nominee Clarence Thomas.
What he did to now-US Supreme Justice Clarence Thomas was classic, museum grade racism of the paternalistic liberal sort and earned him and his co-conspirators a historic rebuke from the future justice.
It was also a prequel of what he'd do after fulfilling his lifelong dream of wanting to be the Commander in Chief.
He's become an even worse burden as president, a position either former president Donald Trump or former presidential candidate Bernie Sanders should rightfully have occupied.
I've watched him call grown Black men "boy", tell leading civil rights activists how they'd have to get along with illegal immigrants and later, as if to prove a point, shove mass migration down the throats of already impoverished, inflation injured urban areas.
He even famously said he regretted calling an illegal (alien), " an illegal," during his State of the Union address.
He's been a heavy burden on my community, so heavy that growing numbers of lifelong Democrats among us are ready to cast him off by casting their votes elsewhere or perhaps sit this one out without casting ballots. (CNN: These longtime Democrats are abandoning Biden for RFK Jr.)
I'm an undecided voter thus far but one decision I made long ago was never to vote for Joe Burden.
My advice to self respecting Black voters, and others, across ideologies is this—dump Joe Burden at the polls.
