EcoNazis a Greater Threat than Islamic Terror

There is an old bit of prose detailing the dangers inherent in noninvolvement. It reads thusly:

First they came for the communists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a communist; Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist; Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew; Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak out for me.

When Pastor Martin wrote this no one had even dreamed of strapping C4 onto a schoolgirl and sending her into a crowd of shoppers as a supposed act of war. Martin was concerned that a highly vocal, militant minority had managed to completely take over an entire country and then nearly half the world before anyone decided to object. Since Hitler we have had a number of despots to deal with, and like Great Briton’s Neville Chamberlin, we have also had to deal with those who refuse to learn history’s lessons. Currently the bad guys are using children, mothers and innocent travelers as shields and weapons (Offensive language intentional). Some say that the Islamic militants are a tiny minority against the whole and we shouldn’t tar the whole culture with the same brush. I have to consider Pastor Martin’s statement in this regard. Whether the danger is what was a tiny minority in Germany or one out of every thousand Muslims today…it is still a danger. The appeasers always have insisted that we must understand the motivating forces behind the actions of people like Bin Laden, Mao, Pol Pot and all the others who have murdered millions in the name of “The Revolution”. Today, as part of the 60’s revival, Che Guevara’s unsmiling mug graces the tee shirts of hundreds of hippie wannabes. Not one of these people is aware that Guevara was one of those who helped Castro shackle Cuba into a half century of communist decay. Guevara was personally responsible for the deaths of thousands, many of them killed for simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I find it ironic that these same wannabe hippies call our military men and women every foul name in the book while wearing their revolutionary garb. But, as is typical with the mushy-brained, the real babykillers can do no wrong and the US military can do no right. If an Arab bombs a synagogue, he’s striking out against Zionism, but have couple of Navy Seals punch out a confirmed terrorist and they are worthy of life imprisonment. As bad as Islamic militancy is, it doesn’t even come close to the more immediate threat we now face; eco-Nazism. There is a city in Northern California that has been completely taken over by the Green Party. I went to school there and some of my family lives there. By ordinance, corporations are outlawed. You will not find any business you would consider normal within the city limits. No chain restaurant, grocery store or retail concern. There are no factories, production or assembly plants anywhere to be found. According to a number of locals, the area has not produced its own wealth for more than 20 years; which suits the Eco-Nazis just fine. Their goal is not so much to save the planet as it is punish and destroy prosperity. The United States was once the sole super power on the face of the earth and had prosperity and self reliance to spare. To those sixties radicals who now fill the ranks of the Greenies, that was an offense that had to be removed. One would think that the Amish would be held as a lifestyle to be admired by the Greenies, but no, those peaceful farmers in Pennsylvania are far too self-reliant to be stomached by those who lead the Green Party. Speaking of such, have you ever tried to find out who is actually at the head of this thing? I looked and I could find no link on the Greenies website leading to a list of the party leaders. You can find plenty of articles praising Islamic terrorists and condemning anything American, but a clear listing of who is in charge, no. This is our clear and present enemy. Check out the site, if you dare. They cannot conceive that there is a way to be environmentally sensible while moving ahead in growth and prosperity. To them, “honest business” is an oxymoron. From their website you get a sense that their real goal is the destruction of not just the American way of life, but of America itself. The Greens consider the Copenhagen Treaty to be of paramount importance; words such as vital and necessary pepper the Green Party’s articles where the treaty is concerned. News agencies such as the BBC bolster this argument by continuing to repeat the already proven false statistics over and over again. Every country is urged to sign the document agreeing that they will abide by the terms of the agreement. That by signing the treaty, a country gives up any rights to its sovereignty is simply icing on the cake where the greenies are concerned. A number of people wrote comments about my column regarding Obama’s hidden puppet masters. Many suggesting possible places to look. After checking out the Green Party site, it seems to me that some of those pulling Obama’s strings may be hiding behind a curtain colored the opposite of red. Consider this, in spite of the overwhelming evidence that every so-called fact pointing to global warming is based on lies; Obama continues to support that agenda. In spite of the fact that adherence to the greenies’ agenda produces stagnation and recession; Obama continues to claim otherwise. He has even stooped to what, in any school I am aware of, would be cheating on the math. I have in my archives a past column that details a portion of the treaty. Check it out. Just that brief portion of the document should be absolutely outrageous to any citizen. If signed, citizens of any signatory country will no longer have any rights of citizenship. If they own a business, that business must adhere to the greenie standard. There is even a series of clauses detailing the creation of an eco-Gestapo. Remember, the Nazis also thought their ends justified their means. Our constitution, just like the old German constitution, outlaws the signing away of our rights. The problem is that just like prewar Germany, America has a large portion of its population deeply rooted in complacency and they see no danger in being Eco-Friendly. They will continue to feel that way, right up until the lights go out.
