Erdogan demonstrates one way to remake a country; progressives prefer vote fraud

The first clue the election season is underway is when the left begins swinging the gavel by challenging voter laws in every state that could pose a hurdle for democrat candidates. In some cases legal objections are brought up in republican states where true conservatives are under pressure by RINO opposition. Just such a situation was seen in Kansas where incumbent Congressman Tim Huelskamp was downed by establishment donors set on defeating Freedom Caucus members who have taken stands against the D.C. status quo. Only a week before the primary, a county district judge interfered with the verification of 17,500 questionable voter registrations by placing a temporary order against Secretary of State Kris Kobach's rule requiring identification in order to cast a ballot. The move blocked the state's ability to determine if non-citizens are voting illegally.

Whether or not this injunction hampered the re-election bid of Huelskamp remains to be seen. True the Vote, which has been fighting the IRS' attempt to quash the organization's non-profit status as part of a general assault against conservative organizations, is conducting a thorough investigation of the election results. Obstacles are being thrown into the election process at an alarming pace with challenges being raised in North Carolina, Virginia, Ohio and other states, particularly targeting those considered to hold a swing vote in the Electoral College. As of April 2016, North Carolina withstood the trial to keep the identification requirements in place but the attempt to force states to forego their own rules in favor of federal rules is continuing. President Obama, during his press conference August 4, 2016, said the "federal government doesn't run the election process." Yet he has been vocal about so-called discrimination against minority voters by requiring identification at the polls to establish that they are who they say they are. Further, if what the president says is so, then why is his Department of Homeland Security looking to weigh in on the security of electronic balloting across the country? Actually, that Jeh Johnson has raised a concern about cyber attacks against the electronic infrastructure (which is comprised of independent jurisdictions, not one control center) should be the best argument for returning to paper ballots--sans chads.

Voter fraud has been with us for decades, the Daley Machine in Chicago being the most infamous for collecting ballots from dead people and strong-arming voters. Fraud raised its ugly head in 2004 in the gubernatorial race in Washington State, illicitly awarding the office to democrat Christine Gregoire, and again in Minnesota where Al Franken usurped the senate seat while boxes of ballots were "discovered" after the election was certified.¹ The egregious fraud that was carried out by republicans against one of their own using democrat operatives in Mississippi in 2014 is still a notorious tale of warning to conservatives seeking office. There are more ways than one to engineer power transfers in government and voter fraud can be instituted in numerous fashions, as mentioned above. At this juncture, however, the abuse of the legal system is by far the favored method, that is if siccing government agencies on freedom-minded individuals and organizations doesn't work first. Our president just demonstrated how freely he wields his pen, commuting sentences of 214 felons (totaling 562 during his terms in office), many who were serving life sentences, who are now able to add their names to voter rolls. Obama is also bent on importing hundreds of thousands of immigrants who have no intention of being allegiant to our Constitution, placing their own political system (sharia) above that of their new home. Plainly, if one has no regard for the laws of the nation where they plan to make a new life, why bother to move? It is understood that there is mayhem and upheaval in their homeland, but that is due to factions within their own ideology rather than an outside force. Simplifying the immigration policy and voter registration to allow illegal ballots to be cast in even greater numbers than is already occurring, is a sure-fire method to "transform" America. The vast majority of Americans resist such transformation despite media continually beating the drum with a contrary message.

Currently, we are witnessing the crumbling of other Western nations under the burden of unrepentant immigrant ideologues applying pressure for implementing change favoring their social model. Turkey's president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, didn't bother to go through democratic channels to begin enforcing his idea of social reform. He used a 'failed' coup as an excuse to claim anyone preferring secular freedom to his concept of an orderly society as an enemy of the state. When placed in this light, the coup was not a failure at all. Erdogan, following the example of Adolf Hitler whom he openly admired, used a crisis to institute his power base. (Recall that the burning of the Reichstag was the impetus to institute authoritarian rule of the Third Reich.²) Even Obama's former chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, was heard to say that no one should "let a crisis go to waste," especially a manufactured one. The question comes down to how well we can forestall a transformation through corrupted balloting by way of illegal, dead or hacked votes. There is no grace period to see how things will pan out in the end. Every citizen must be diligent to protect the sanctity of the casting of each vote by confronting fraud. Identification requirements must be enforced and legal challenges set aside for what they are--frivolous.
