Ex-NAACP chairman: IRS should target Tea Party because it’s ‘racist,’ or ‘the Taliban,’ or something



You may remember the outcry when, back in 2004, the NAACP was the subject of an IRS audit. They claimed the action was anti-1st Amendment and a racist persecution. So, obviously, the NAACP is equally outraged over the IRS targeting conservatives now that Obama's in the White House, right? I'm just kidding. Of course they aren't.

Former NAACP Chairman and professional race-baiter, Julian Bond,was on MSNBC today, where he made it clear that this is a very different situation. In fact, since the Tea Party is "admittedly racist," Bond thinks the IRS is doing us all a favor by targeting them for politically motivated audits. Seriously. That's what he thinks. The Tea Party is racist and, as he puts it, is the "Taliban wing of American politics." So Uncle Sam should tear into its finances like a starving dog with a bag of milk bones. That whole "1st Amendment" thing is just a nuisance.. Here's Mr. Bond saying something that, well, makes no sense at all:
