Expectations vs Reality: My First And Last Column On The Farce Of A Debate

Trump represents hard work, diligence, and love of country, while Harris represents flighty radical ideals and flaunts her newfound, but undeserved situation. If you weigh the two against the future of the country, there is no debate, there never was

Following the debate, the Democrats were seemingly satisfied, and the Republicans appeared disappointed, but why? The answer is simple: expectations.

Trump was expected to intimidate Harris into submission, but he let her off the hook in too many instances. On the other hand, Harris did nothing to demonstrate competence; in fact, she deflected so many questions without answering them that the only thing she accomplished was continuing to hide her ultra-liberal ways from the American public.

If the Democrats and liberals choose to see that stance as a positive sign, so be it. The only reason that they have to feel anything at all is because the expectations for Harris were so low that her avoidance of discussing real issues is seen through the left’s distorted eyes as some twisted win. Harris didn’t win anything; she just continued the Democratic deception that she is a legitimate candidate, but she isn’t.

Three weeks before Democrats were forced to give up on the Biden is competent hoax and shoved the even more incompetent Harris into the limelight, she was voted THE WORST VICE PRESIDENT IN AMERICAN HISTORY. Just four days ago, she was crackling about changing the color of the Starbucks coffee lids because lipstick marks are left on them when she drinks one. This is the person who has called Trump “Not a serious person,” another attempt at leftist projection.

Harris is, without a doubt, the least competent presidential candidate in American history. The fact that she is even running for the office will become a massive negative in America’s story. She has absolutely no qualifications.

She wants to try and win the most critical election in our nation's history primarily based on the left’s hatred of Trump and by avoiding interviews and remaining totally vague on a real platform. Instead, she spews platitudes such as “Turn the page” and “A new way forward,” ignoring the fact Democrats caused the problems as well as trying to gloss over her own personal involvement.

The two “moderators,” David Muir and Linsey Davis, were beyond a disgrace at the debate. They sat idle and allowed Harris to lie through her teeth. Harris told at least 25 verifiable lies and not once did they fact-check her. Instead, both moderators openly badgered and argued with President Trump throughout the entire debate.

On that stage Tuesday night, Muir and Davis proved once again that journalism is dead and buried. All that remains is leftist propaganda controlled by those behind the scenes. Narcissistic talking heads who are so full of themselves that they are content to go along for personal fame and money while continuing to facilitate the internal demise of a nation.

Trump grew frustrated with Harris’s avoidance of the questions and actual pertinent topics. In his frustration, he failed to pursue Harris when she dodged the subjects and grew even more agitated as the scene changed from a presidential debate to an ambush by Muir and Davis.

There was no debate on Tuesday. Trump tried to have one, but the Democrats knew going in that they couldn’t let that happen. Harris is an unqualified pretender whose only hope was to lie and deceive, while Muir and Davis ran interference for her.

Harris is desperate to put her pitifully egregious past record behind her. She wants America to forget the facts and the truth and instead focus on an uncertain future based solely on her flip-flopping radical left ideology.

A quote by George Santayana is a truism in this case. He said:

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”

The Democrats have been in power for 12 of the last 16 years yet they still want us to believe that everything is Trump’s fault. Harris’s ideology has left misery in her wake throughout her entire career, and she failed miserably as the incompetent sidekick to the befuddled Biden. Trump, on the other hand, was a successful president for four years and racked up more achievements domestically as well as in his foreign policy than any other president.

Trump represents hard work, diligence, and love of country, while Harris represents flighty radical ideals and flaunts her newfound, but undeserved situation. If you weigh the two against the future of the country, there is no debate, and there never was.
