Extreme Politics: Not Just Damaging Prosperity, But Damaging Political Parties

Extreme Politics
In a world of increasingly intense political conflict, gazillions of comments and articles have exclaimed just how crazy the other side is. This article diagnoses who are the crazies, points out that it is not just prosperity being threatened and is dismayed that informed opposition to the authoritarian rant is cancelled. Moreover, political fury has been provoked by ordinary folk saying "No!" to intrusion. Even at family gatherings such as Thanksgiving there will be servings of political strife. The Left lives in turmoil and demands that everyone suffers their angst. But as featured in a 1976 movie: "We're as mad as hell, and we aren't going to take this anymore". As history shows, authoritarians are never satisfied, never voluntarily quitting their intolerant drive.  Moderation requires outsiders saying "No!", and the left used to its own way for so long, launched into non-stop tantrums. However, the mess they make inspires popular uprisings that in being benign can accomplish a great reformation. Not widely reviewed is the damage being done to the political parties. History suggests two alternatives. One is that the bullying party declines or collapses. The other is that a prodigal party is reformed.

Back to Roman Times, prosperity goes with freedom and poverty, hardship and even famine go with authoritarian regimes

The answer to which side is really crazy is straightforward. Back to Roman Times, prosperity goes with freedom and poverty, hardship and even famine go with authoritarian regimes.  In reviewing two thousand years of social and economic destruction caused by bullying government one can't help but wonder "Why?" Regrettably, the explanation is difficult.  With Biden, fronting the Dems, the shutdown of reliable and efficient power is now painful and finally being seen as stupid. It took shocking increases in costs of driving cars and heating homes. In England and Northern Europe the intrusion and shortages are worse. Showing an incredible lack of judgement, the "Health" of the nearest planet became more important than day to day living. The economic "Health" of the people does not matter. This describes the path to another impoverished regime as seen in the former Soviet Union or present North Korea. Providing more immediate instruction, Venezuela is a case study on how to turn prosperity into destitution in less than twenty years. Look what Biden has done in only 2.5 years. Of course, the answer to "Why?" is that control freaks will do anything to be in control. That it causes any amount of harm to ordinary people is of little concern. And ironically, the controlling classes live well and promise well as everyone else suffers. The iniquity could become severe as the recession worsens and temperatures drop. Freezing in the dark because of "Global Warming" could be one of the greatest absurdities, ever. This article focuses on Canada, England and the US – traditionally democracies with long-standing protections for individual freedom and limited government. Ironically, these countries with others spent massive amounts of blood and treasure correcting Europe's disasters imposed by military dictatorships as well as welfare dictatorships. And are now seriously suffering a new set of operatives promoting new stories for yet the same old control.

The quip about the key difference between Biden and Trudeau is 29 years

The quip about the key difference between Biden and Trudeau is 29 years. While Joe is incoherent all of the time, for Justin it is some of the time. There are video clips of the latter literally gasping for air in trying to answer a question. Moreover, both leaders as well as those in England have been shutting down fossil fuels.  All under the dictates of the World Economic Forum, the latest of many arbiters of political ambition. And the new agency's compulsive huckstering succeeds International Socialism as the guiding force. Trudeau admires Communist China's "basic dictatorship" because central planners can get things done. Even in polite circles there has always been some international agency to cite when imposing control. In 1919, it was Wilson's League of Nations. Then it was Rockefeller's Council on Foreign Relations, followed by the Bilderberg Group and the Club of Rome. While visible  have been ephemeral, with the World Economic Forum being the latest glamorous agency fronting today's nemesis of central control. Of which, the WEF's buzz phrase is the "Great Reset" within which the proletariat will be inspired by: "You will own nothing and be happy". One wonders if this is deliberate satire upon the Constitution's "pursuit of Happiness" and protections of life and property? Beguiling--as many as possible are out to trash the standard of living. Which due to deliberate inflation is some $6,000 more expensive than a year ago. However, the trend has become intolerable setting up a reform movement that could be successful. Not just at all levels of government, but also with political parties.  Since 1865, England has been known as: "The mother of all parliaments", certainly influencing governance in America and Canada. But "Mother" has gone radical in political intrusion and instability, with three Prime Ministers in less than four months. Johnson's 2019 landslide was due to the electorate in the Midlands recording an unprecedented switch from Labour to Conservative. Motivations were Brexit, too many immigrants and too much government. Then Boris blew it, by going with the WEF on intrusion. Next, Liz Truss tried a moderate approach to less government, only to be cancelled after fifty days in office.

Globalists not just swamped Truss but the Conservative Party is now fully WEF

This turnover has never happened before and reminds of something similar for emperors in the Third Century as authoritarians trashed the magnificence of Roman civilization. Globalists not just swamped Truss but the Conservative Party is now fully WEF, with Rishi Sunak now as leader and Prime Minister. The party in going full "Woke" has been corrupted and now hostile to the reform movement. Ordinary folk still deserve reliable and affordable power. Frack the Woke comes to mind and it can win. One-party-globalist government is a formidable threat to the country and the savvy Nigel Farage is talking about forming a new party. A party for freedom and limited government, which could happen. It is needed, as the old Tory Party is in serious decline and beyond reform. Also, beyond reform is the Liberal Party of Canada that has become a satellite of the WEF, which Klaus Schwab brags about. Beyond promoting Climate Hysteria, Trudeau suddenly declared there is too much nitrogen used in farming. He has significantly reduced Canada's domestic supplies of energy and now he is restricting food production. Not understanding that nitrogen is very efficiently applied and that most crops deplete nitrogen.  Both are being seen as ideological nonsense and starting with the peaceful Freedom Convoy, Trudeau has become increasingly belligerent. He would not meet with those who wanted to discuss freedom, then declared the Emergency Act and froze bank accounts. An official inquiry into these unprecedented measures is underway and appears to be inspiring honest scrutiny. The key being that the initiative was Trudeau's personal drive, not the police.

Dem attention every four years to Black and Latino communities is no longer working

The Prime Minister's position is becoming precarious by this as well as by very effective debate by the new leader of the Conservatives. Pierre Poilievre won unprecedented support across all 3.5 time zones. This is reforming the party and in winning the next election can reform the swamps of Ottawa. The Liberal Party, already reduced geographically can lose considerable influence. As for the Quislings, the RINOs could be reduced, as well as CINOs in Canada. Dem attention every four years to Black and Latino communities is no longer working. Instead, these are shifting to looking after their own interests by voting Republican. With the formidable change in polls, the Left is perplexed. But authoritarians can never quit the party of war – upon countries as well as the electorate.  And with the Woke media and tech giants crashing the Dem machine is losing.

Bob Hoye (BobHoye.com) has been researching investments for decades, which eventually included the history of financial and political markets. He considers now to be the most fascinating time for both since the Great Reformation of the 1600s.  Bob casts a caustic eye on all promotions and, having a degree in geophysics, is severely critical of the audacity that a committee can “manage” not just the economy, but also the temperature of the nearest planet. He has had articles published in major financial journals and, as a speaker, has amused assemblies in a number of cities, from London to Zurich to Tokyo.
