Forget So Called 'YNs': Remember Your Safety

Misusing your youth to intimidate, take and annihilate your way through the Black community and other communities, means you forgot your place as a child (yes, you actually have one) and should be treated like an adult for committing grown up crime.

*Not the 'f word' I had in mind lol but still clinging stubbornly to a no profanity in posting policy.

Young Black people acting like neo Nazis aren't Brothers and sisters to me.

'We're not the same.'

The so-called 'YNs' or young 'n words' of today are more merciless manifestations of Generation X 'dope boys' of my era. They gave us a bitter first taste of widespread warfare against our own community.

'YNs' make violent traitors of my era look like choir boys, something said often by reformed survivors of the crack era.

This latest devolution in urban Black male development can't be ignored away nor enabled away the way Democratic mayors obsessively do.

Until Black people with sense say, "Forget 'YNs!' like we'd do marauding neo Nazis, the destruction deepens.

Forgetting them by opposing obliteration this percentage of Black youth brings is the only sane response to a true tactical threat to community safety.

We wouldn't hesitate if they were neo Nazis.

We shouldn't hesitate now.

I love legitimate mentors trying to deprogram so-called 'YNs,' but we must mobilize against them too. Prevention takes time and their clients can take lives when they're not under mentors supervision.

I say forget them.

Remember your safety.
