Former Nickelodeon star Jennette McCurdy claimed that the children's cable TV network offered her $300,000 in "hush money" so that she would not go public with damning accusations. McCurdy was a Nickelodeon standout actress from 2007 until 2014 – when she was the star of the massively successful "iCarly" TV show and then "Sam & Cat."
