ACORN, Project Vote, Cloward-Piven strategy

Fox Appointed to Run Hen House

The entirely corrupt Democrat support group known as ACORN has launched its reinvention tour, attempting to rebrand itself as something other than an entirely Democrat Obama support group.

ACORN first rose to fame by way of its patent voter fraud program, known as Project Vote. Project Vote pretends to have an angelic interest in registering low income citizens to vote. In reality, under the auspices of ACORN, Project Vote has long provided a bottomless pit of illegal Democrat votes.
“Project Vote has been accused of voter registrations fraud in more than a dozen states.  Its parent group ACORN, along with a staff member, are scheduled to be tried for fraud in Nevada in a matter of days. Recently, ACORN was nailed under the RICO Act in Ohio and ordered to never come back to the state.  More importantly, the settlement also said ACORN couldn’t simply morph into another organization and cause the same type of trouble in Ohio. In short, Project Vote is at the root of ACORN’s voter registration fraud problems.”
To ensure that Project Vote can continue creating havoc nationwide and thwarting the will of the people, the ignominious Frances Fox Piven now serves on the board of directors. Euphemistically described as a “scholar-citizen”, Alinsky Alum, Fox Piven is one of the architects of the Cloward-Piven strategy. In the 1960s, two Alinsky grads and Columbia sociologists, Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven, devised a scheme to bring about the downfall of capitalism by overloading government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands. Drawing inspiration from the highly successful Watts riots in 1965, they wrote that the current welfare system provided a social safety net, which only doused the fires of rebellion. Cloward and Piven believed that the poor would only advance if the rest of society was afraid of them. When the system inevitably failed, use that failure to discredit the system. They organized a mass movement to load up the welfare rolls to the breaking point. They first used these “shock troops” in 1975 to flood the welfare rolls in New York City. The scheme worked; New York City went bankrupt and sought a federal bailout. Eventually, Rudy Giuliani had to clean up the mess. The grand strategy is to use the poor as cannon fodder to tear down the capitalist system. The same tactics were later applied to elections. The idea was to swamp the voter rolls with invalid registrations; new “voting rights” coalitions were formed to yell “racism” and “disenfranchisement” at every opportunity. Teams of lawyers were brought in to file frivolous lawsuits. “Perhaps Piven’s strategy of overwhelming the system will now be applied to registering people to vote.  As we saw in Indiana, Florida, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Nevada, Ohio and many other states, Project Vote created chaos for elections workers to sift through.  With Piven now guiding this ship, her success at overwhelming the welfare system will now be applied to voter registration.”
