France confirms Paris attack ringleader has been sent to Allah

French officials confirmed this morning that they killed the ringleader of the Paris terror attacks in an early-morning police raid. The ringleader was Pierre Mondeaux, an evangelical Christian who led Wednesday night Bible studies and preached Jesus Christ to passers-by on Paris street corners. Just kidding! His name was Abdelhamid Abaaoud and he was a radical Islamic jihadist affilated with ISIS. Of course:

It gave no immediate details on how Abaaoud died, saying only that his “impact-riddled body was discovered in the building” in the suburb of Saint-Denis. The Washington Post, citing two European officials, reported Wednesday that French authorities had confirmed Abaaoud’s death. Remaining unanswered, however, are many questions about the movements of Abaaoud, a Belgian national of Moroccan descent. He apparently fled to Islamic State strongholds in Syria, possibly earlier this year after raids in Belgium. Investigators are now trying to piece together how he slipped past intelligence agencies to return to Europe — perhaps hiding amid the unprecedented wave of asylum seekers and others flooding into Greece from war-battered places such as Syria and Iraq.

Elsewhere, police mounted raids in search of suspects linked to last week’s Paris carnage as well as clues that could point to other attack plots.

That part in bold for emphasis was my doing. No one knows for sure how Abaaoud got into the country, but the possibility that he slipped in among refugees is an obvious theory to explore - which gives the lie to the whole idea that those opposed to taking Syrian refugees in the U.S. are just haters or mean or whatever. It's about the very real possibility that the flood of refugees will include an impossible-to-quantify number of jihadists who will become part of ISIS cells planning the next Paris - in America. At any rate, this piece of garbage won't kill any more people, so that's an achievement that can't be taken away. I eagerly await liberals lecturing us that killing ISIS is "exactly what ISIS wants" because it's "the greatest recruiting tool they could possibly have" or whatever. If getting killed is what ISIS wants, let's give them what they want. Or rather, let's encourage the ass-kicking French to give them what they want - since America won't do it until we get a new commander in chief. And maybe not even then.
