At least 20 people and one policeman suffered minor injuries in a stampede at a friendly soccer match between Nigeria and North Korea at the Makhulong stadium, in Tembisa, in Germiston, east of Johannesburg, yesterday.
About 8000 tickets were reportedly given to community members by the match organisers.
But far more fans turned up for the match, including Nigerians, without tickets, from Johannesburg.
