Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee on Thursday dismissed two counts brought by District Attorney Fani Willis against Donald Trump, ruling that the controversial Georgia prosecutor lacked the authority to bring the charges against the former president.
“McAfee allowed eight other charges against Trump to proceed while dismissing one charge against Trump’s co-defendants,” Newsweek’s Aila Slisco reported:
