Glenn Beck caused quite a stir last week with his three part series on George Soros. Even Abraham Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, got into the act and condemned Beck for what Foxman called his "over the top" remarks.

What set Foxman and other Beck critics off was Beck's discussion of Soros' experience as a Jewish teenager living in Nazi-occupied Hungary during the Holocaust. Soros survived by living with a non-Jewish family and assuming a non-Jewish identity. Soros accompanied and observed his phony "godfather" delivering papers to Jews and confiscating their property. But the issue is not what Soros did or could have done as a teenager. Who are we to judge what a 14 year-old felt he had to do to stay alive in those horrific circumstances? What makes Soros so worthy of condemnation is his evident lack of any feeling at any time since for the suffering of Jews he had observed all around him. And Soros has turned on his fellow Jews ever since. During a video interview, for example, Soros described the year while he was a teenager in German occupied Hungary as one of the happiest in his life - "a very happy-making exhilarating experience." And when asked on 60 Minutes whether his experiences during that time had caused him any problems since, he said it "created no problem at all." In fact, with the total amoral detachment of the financier observing his speculation's dire effects on the value of national currencies, Soros said:
well, actually, in a funny way, it's just like in markets, that if I weren't there, of course, I wasn't doing it, but somebody else would be taking it away anyhow. And whether I was there or not, I was only a spectator, the property was being taken away. So I had no role in taking away that property. So I had no sense of guilt.
The state of Israel was created out of the ashes of the Holocaust as a safe haven for the Jewish people. But Soros, who was apparently so happy hiding his Jewish identity in order to personally survive during the Holocaust, couldn't care less whether Israel survived or not. In fact, he wants Hamas to be part of any solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which is just begging for another Holocaust against the Jews. Forgetting about the long history of anti-Semitism in Europe that preceded the founding of the state of Israel, Soros has blamed Israeli policies for contributing to the "resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe." Soros also cited his own immense power as fueling the "new anti-Semitism" which
holds that the Jews rule the world
Before condemning Beck for supposedly making "over the top" remarks about Soros, Foxman should have first stopped and recalled when he himself had described Soros' comments about the causes for the re-emergence of anti-Semitism as "absolutely obscene." Foxman went on to say:
He [Soros] buys into the stereotype. It's a simplistic, counterproductive, biased and bigoted perception of what's out there. It's blaming the victim for all of Israel's and the Jewish people's ills.
While Soros blames Israeli policies for the resurgence of anti-Semitism in Europe, his Open Society Institute has published its Muslims in Europe report series that depicts Muslims living in Europe as victims of racism, discrimination, stereotypes, prejudice etc. Consistent with Soros' dislike for national sovereignty, the OSI report recommends changing the definitions of nationality to accommodate Muslim immigrants and extending voting rights to non-citizens. Glenn Beck is right about George Soros. This self-hating Jew, who is using his money and influence to try and change the world to fit his messianic fantasies, would be better off spending his money on some serious psychotherapy. Maybe he can change himself into a human being with a conscience. Then again, even all of Soros' money cannot buy the humanity that he so sorely lacks.
