Plus, CBS News confirms 2 million - and counting - have lost their insurance

Geraldo Rivera calls Obamacare a disaster, says President is ‘Stuck up’ and ‘snobby’

This morning CBS News continued its non-stop barrage of scathing Obamacare reports. This time, they were confirming that over 2 million Americans had lost their preferred insurance due to the President's signature legislation.

All of this is occuring despite Obama's constantly repeated assurances that this simply would not happen. They also made the unfortunate point that 2 million is almost triple the (probably inflated) number of people who've supposedly signed up through the Obamacare exchanges in all 50 states. Despite the fact that nearly every conservative on Earth predicted this, CBS still characterizes the reality of Obamacare as "unexpected." Who in their right mind could possibly be surprised by this outcome? Republicans knew it would happen, the administration knew it would happen, and we now know that the President was aware it would happen. Yet there are still people out there that are surprised by this? People like who? People like Geraldo Rivera, apparently. Despite - as he puts it - "rooting for this President to succeed," a ship named "Reality" has touched down on planet Geraldo. From Rivera's radio show:
Aside from Hurricane Sandy we’re also talking about Typhoon Obamacare, and as I mentioned I take absolutely no pleasure in reporting because I’m rooting for this president to succeed even though he’s stuck-up and snobby and everything else. I want him to succeed because when he succeeds we all succeed. But today we’re getting word that contrary to what the president told us repeatedly, at least 2 million policy holders will not be able to hold on to their current policies because those policies are inadequate under the requirements of the new law. Which means those 2 million policy holders are now required to go out and get new and usually much more expensive insurance. So you have 2 million canceled policies which is about three times the number of people who signed up for Obamacare. So far, I think ‘disaster’ is a good way to characterize it.
Uh oh. If Obama can't even rely on Geraldo, the list of sycophants must be growing short indeed. Oh, and by the way. If Obamacare is a 'typhoon,' shouldn't Geraldo be putting on his Gorton's Fisherman foul weather gear right about now? That storm's not going to film itself. Geraldo's coverage of Typhoon Obamacare can be seen below.
