Conservatives still laboring under the whimsical notion that the Obama Justice Department might actually pursue justice when dealing with liberal Democrats should view the Lois Lerner miscarriage of justice as a profound “teachable moment

Given DOJ Exoneration of Lois Lerner, How Likely Is It That Hillary Clinton Will Be Indicted?

Many conservatives were sorely disappointed by the tepid Congressional hearing into Hillary Clinton’s role in the murder of four American ambassadors in Benghazi, and the subsequent cover up which was vital to the re-election of Barack Obama in 2012. Still, some conservatives were clinging to the naïve hope that Clinton would ultimately be brought to justice as a result of the ongoing FBI investigation into her handling (mishandling) of classified documents and illegal use of private, non-government equipment.

Those hopes were dashed on Friday by news that Obama’s Department of Justice had exonerated Lois Lerner of the IRS for her hand in targeting conservative enemies of the president for special scrutiny. Thus, the egregious crime of using the IRS against political opponents, which lead to the forced resignation of Republican President Richard M. Nixon in 1974, was glossed over as “ineffective management,” but not a crime, when it came to abuse of power by, and on behalf of, Democrat Barack Obama! As reported:
“The U.S. Justice Department said on Friday it had found no basis for a criminal prosecution over the Internal Revenue Service's mishandling several years ago of requests for tax-exempt status by political groups aligned with the Tea Party. Closing a chapter on a controversy that shook the tax agency and led to the ouster of its chief, the Justice Department also largely exonerated Lois Lerner, an IRS executive who played a key role and drew ferocious criticism from Republicans. "The IRS mishandled the processing of tax-exempt applications in a manner that disproportionately impacted applicants affiliated with the Tea Party and similar groups ... However, ineffective management is not a crime," Assistant Attorney General Pater Kadzik said in a letter to lawmakers.”
Not surprisingly, the DOJ decision is in lock step with Obama’s assertion that there was “Not a smidgen of Corruption” at the IRS, as reported. Conservatives still laboring under the whimsical notion that the Obama Justice Department might actually pursue justice when dealing with liberal Democrats should view the Lois Lerner miscarriage of justice as a profound “teachable moment,” and ominous sign in the likely outcome of the case involving Hillary Rodham Clinton!
