Grace-Marie Turner's Top 10 coming ObamaCare disasters

Our friend Grace-Marie Turner, who has appeared on my show in the past to explain all that is wrong with ObamaCare, has an excellent piece in National Review today that highlights the Top 10 disasters that are on their way as a result of ObamaCare.
It wouldn't be fair to National Review to excerpt too much of it, so definitely click through to read all of Grace-Marie's excellent analysis. But let me give you a summation of the list: 1. Deductible shock. Just wait until you say what you'll actually pay out of pocket once you're "covered" by ObamaCare. 2. Will people pay? Just because people sign up doesn't mean they'll pay their premiums when they realize how little they're getting for their money.

3. Attracting the sickest. ObamaCare needs young, healthy people to sign up. But that's not who will be attracted to this. That will be a huge problem. 4. Less expensive plans vanish. We're seeing this now. All you wanted was protection against catastrophe? Sorry! 5. Families lose out. The structure of ObamaCare further punishes those who are married. 6. Repaying subsidies. You sure you qualify? You'd better be, because if you get one and it turns out you shouldn't have . . . ouch. 7. Public health-care costs are going to explode. Remember "bending the cost curve"? This from the man whose economic expertise has given us 2 percent annualized GDP growth? Yeah. 8. More jobs lost. This one is probably obvious, but Grace-Marie explains it very well. 9. Identity theft and fraud will explode. Just how secure do you think HealthCare.gov's data is? Exactly. 10. Federal exchange subsidies eliminated? What, you say? That's not in the bill? Neither was the web site crash. Grace-Marie explains the various legal issues that could put the kabosh on the subsidies. Then what? Click over and read the whole thing. This disaster is only just beginning to foist itself on the nation.
