Granola Bars For Security Officers and Other Essential Workers

It's not on the scale of what the government or big non profits can do but it's what I can do

It's no newsflash that I'm an advocate for private protectors commonly called security officers or guards and other essential workers.

During predawn walks to work my favorite experience is dropping in on the overnight security officer for a national pharmacy branch.

During talks, inflation impacted budget permitting, I buy granola bars to give out to him, other essential workers participating in the chat and public transit staffers where I work.

I even nibble on a few too. 😊

Our security officers, street sweepers, public transit crews, hospitality staff and other essential workers often work on less than full stomachs in the wee hours of the morning which makes early morning granola bars a pleasant surprise.

It's not on the scale of what the government or big non profits can do but it's what I can do.
