Green is GOOD….Carbon is BAD

It is hard to imagine that such a simplistic, abbreviated excuse for science could be expected to be even MORE remedial. In a complex world, those with any level of scientific training and the slightest objectivity were immediately tipped off to global warming as a possible fraud, STRICTLY DUE TO SIMPLICITY.

The atmosphere is composed of mainly four very simple gases, and all are vital to our carbon–based life form. In order of magnitude these gases are Nitrogen, Oxygen, water vapor and Carbon Dioxide. Carbon Dioxide, nicknamed CO2, is at present 380 parts per million of the atmospheric mix. Parts per million is not an everyday concept for the general public. A million BB’s would fill a 22 gallon barrel. The global warmists are trying to claim that adding 5 more BB’s to that 22 gallon barrel full of BB’s is going to end the world as we know it. If Al Gore sounds dumb making this statement, he can now ‘do it as a duet’.

Dumb Gore and Dumber Cleaver

Yes, elected Representative Emanuel Cleaver (Dem-Missouri, or DMO for short) , serving on the Select House Committee for Energy Independence and Global Warming, made the following statement in official hearing, May 6, 2010:

“I think newspapers are supposed to be printed at a 6th grade level and I think with something as important as global warming, we’ve got to figure out how to simplify the language for the public.”

Forget the challenge of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader” for even that appears to be above our expected capability. Our dear DMO’s congressional website states that he grew up in public housing, holds a degree in Sociology from a minor college and was an ‘activist’ for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. Do not be fooled by the false branding of the word ‘Christian’ in the name of this left wing pressure group. DMO was then elected to city council in Kansas City, Missouri in 1979 and went on, as he proudly states to be the first African American Mayor of KC. To ‘post-racial’ Americans this smacks of tokenism. DMO served as pastor of St James United Methodist Church. As KC mayor, DMO then went on the serve two terms as President of the National Conference of Black Mayors. To someone whose faith or education was of primary value, it would be more important to mention being the ‘first minister to serve as mayor’ or the ‘first sociologist to serve as mayor’. This is racial politics in plain view. This may be a one dimensional human being, DMO is now serving his third term as U S Representative from the Fifth District and serves on the Financial Services Committee and the Homeland Security Committee, along with the above Select Committee. Based on his posted biography, DMO is under qualified for both of his permanent committee appointments. Based on the name of the Committee FOR Energy Independence and Global Warming there will be NO attempt to verify the accuracy of the science. Again, per his bio, DMO would be likewise unqualified to make judgments on any scientific subject as well. DMO is a product of the welfare, affirmative action, racial identity political machine. He shows a stated preference for tokenism and wants that principle extended. DMO wants token journalism to present token science in a positive light to provide funding to expand the same machine that he is a product of. Another curious item on DMO’s website states:

Regrettably, due to the volume of mail that I receive, I am only able to research And address those messages sent to me from my constituents.

Of the dozens of websites for congressmen that I have visited this is the first that I’ve seen a disclaimer like this. If you were concerned that DMO might benefit from additional global warming information, then you are ‘out of luck if you’re out of the fifth’. Renown race-baiter, Jesse Jackson, has one quote that all can agree on, “It does not matter if you came to America on a slave ship or a luxury liner, we’re all in the same boat now”. Song writer Mary Chapin Carpenter has an interesting lyric, “In this world you need a soul for a compass and a heart for a pair of wings”. Regardless of race, the Fifth District has a multitude of distinguished military veterans, successful business leaders and knowledgeable scholars who are qualified for high office. WE do not need token leaders, demanding token journalism, to support token science for draconian taxes and controls. Congress has earned a 10% approval rating, which would indicate that 90% are in need of replacement. Constituents of the Fifth District, and our nation, would be better served with a better Representative. Let us find leaders with the soul and heart to truly guide us all to a better world.
