Gullible’s Travels

I recently drove across our once great country, and then half way back. As always, when travelling though – or flying over – America, I was struck by how little of the country is developed. Mile after seemingly endless mile is beautifully managed farm or ranch land, or is covered by dense forest.

But how can this be? Haven’t environmentalists been hysterically warning for years that we must turn the country into wilderness to stop it from being destroyed by development? Well, folks, like the phony science that dove the shrill cries and draconian demands associated with “global warming”, it seems that this, too, is all lies, aimed at bringing about a political outcome, i.e., the destruction of free, capitalist America, and imposition of neo-fascist global governance. The only places that, as a rule, suffer from over-development and environmental degradation are the large urban areas, all run by Democrats for the past 100 years and more. Run by Democrats? As in managed? But aren’t the vast majority, if not all, environmentalists Democrats? Surely, there’s some mistake? The mistake has been in thinking that the Democrat Party is simply a bunch of good people with our best interests at heart, who just think government should take a larger role. The truth is, the Democrat Party of today is indeed a “rainbow coalition” – progressives, extremist liberals, radical socialists, communists, racist revolutionaries, globalist neo-fascists – all out to control every aspect of our lives, cradle-to-death panel-recommended-grave.

Environmentalism has been a major tool in fooling the majority of people into giving up their God-given constitutional rights

Environmentalism has been a major tool in fooling the majority of people into giving up their God-given constitutional rights, in the name of “protecting” Thumper and Bambi. It has been especially effective on urban populations who assume that the whole country looks like the Democrat-created megalopolises of the East and West coasts, or the Rust Belt. These folks have rarely been out of urban environments, even on vacations, when they simply fly from one urban airport to another, and appear to never look out the windows of the planes. Their worldview comes from news and information the get exclusively from TV and leftist propaganda rags that masquerade as “newspapers”. Toss in the fact that most of them have been “educated” in government schools, and you have manufactured gullibility at its most intense. Though it tends to be well below the radar, there is hardly a community in America that is not being subverted in the name of Sustainable Development. This is the primary tool for turning environmental theory into subversive political action. I strongly urge anyone who is not familiar with the reality of Sustainable Development to, in the spirit of the new, informed Tea Party America, take some time and go to (link). An understanding of the truth about Sustainable Development will make clear an awful (awful, indeed!) lot of otherwise inexplicable laws, policies, and administrative rules that have emerged over the past 50 years. You will also learn that it is being forced upon us from the highest levels of government.

They were responsible for the “greening” of what used to be our government.

For example, using an unconstitutional executive order, #12852, Bill Clinton created the President’s Council on Sustainable Development, on June 29, 1993. They were responsible for the “greening” of what used to be our government. The ever-so-hated-by-the-self-righteous-left G. W. Bush could have rescinded any or all of Clinton’s illegal executive orders (and there were lots of ‘em), but chose to leave them in place. The current (very possibly illegal) occupant of the White House has carried on the tradition of by-passing Congress with new illegal orders, and lately, through “administrative rules” issued by the totally unconstitutional EPA (Abolish EPA Now!). The Democrat Party has tried to ram legislation down our throats aimed at giving government total control over land use in the guise of the infamous Cap-and-Trade bill, and revisions to the Clean Water Act. They have tried to revive the discredited and defeated Conservation and Reinvestment Act (CARA) as part of the Omnibus (this word should always raise massive red flags when you hear it) Lands Bill, allocating $400,000,000,000.00 of the people’s money to buy up private property and turn it into untouchable, useless, wilderness. The new, purportedly conservative House of Representatives clearly has its work cut out for it. What remains to be seen is whether they have the backbone, heart, and guts to do it. The excuse that the Usurper will veto whatever they pass just doesn’t cut it. They need to do what is right and put the onus for doing what is clearly wrong on those who would continue to trample Constitution and the will of the people. In two years, we will retake the whole Congress and the presidency, and then seriously move to right all the past wrongs. In the meantime, they must cut off funding for the unconstitutional, extreme leftist legislation passed by the Reid/Pelosi/Obama cabal, hamstringing the Democrat’s ability to further damage the country. The gullible on both the left and the right need to awaken to the fact that while they slept, they have been tied down, nearly completely, by a web of unconstitutional, un-American laws and regulations. This has been done by an increasingly radical, totalitarian Democrat Party, and their Republican RINO running dogs, that need to be seen not as the “loyal opposition”, but as the dangerous, potentially violent, enemies of freedom and a sovereign America that they have most assuredly become.
