Happy Sunday and good to be able to visit with you guys once again. We hope everybody is doing just fine and thanks for stopping in to see us again! You know Deb and I had gone down to the ranch for a couple days, and boy we had a good time! We’d been trying to leave Wed. morning, and it just seemed as if things wouldn’t stop popping up and delaying the trip.

Thursday morning rolled around and dad-gum, we were still having kinks thrown our way. Finally about 3:30, that afternoon, Deb says, “If we’re going, then let’s load the dern truck and GO!” So, being the loving husband I am, I says, “Okay.” It’s about an hour and a half drive from the house which isn’t long but, there’s about 30 miles of two-lane road between Hwy. 60 and Yeehaw Junction that’s heavily traveled and once you get behind a slower vehicle, well, you have to just poke along. Once we got to the ranch though, it was “Shangri-La,” from Thursday afternoon until this (Sun.) morning. We’ve just unloaded and walked in the door. Deb says, “You going to help me unpack?” I just told her I had to come holler at you guys, and SURPRISINGLY, she just said…okay. Small wonders still amaze me! Friday afternoon we rode around and saw several deer, but it was so hot, and man it has been awful dry as well. So, with this the case, the wildlife just weren’t moving around like they normally do. We saw a big ole boar hog Fri. afternoon as well, and I had no rifle on me. My brother Shane was like, “I can’t believe you didn’t bring a gun, “and I said that I had, actually two, but not a rifle. He then shook his head and said, “Well, why did you bring pistols but NO rifles?” I told him, that’s easy enough to answer…Boogers! He said that there weren’t any boogers down here, and I just said…that’s what you say! More...

Dub and Deb——

‘Ridin Out The Recession With Dub and Deb in “Miz Judi’s Kitchen’!

Note to Readers: There are a few things that Dub doesn’t know but one thing he does know is that the word ‘Riding’ (as in Riding Out the Recession) is spelled with a ‘g’ at the end.  But Dub not only walks the walk, but speaks like he is: down home, true blue, and plain speakin’ country folk.

Dub and Deb are both native Floridians, live in Central Florida, and run a small business as well. They have five children, and seven grandchildren.

Both love to cook, love to laugh, grow a garden, and generally try to “aggravate” most anyone around them basically…all in good fun, of course!
