2PM EST NEWS CONFERENCE and TELECONFERENCE - - Judge’s ruling posted on AG’s web site - Richmond (December 13, 2010) – Federal District Court Judge Henry Hudson ruled at noon today in Virginia’s lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the federal health care act that the health care mandate is unconstitutional. Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli will hold a news conference at his office at 2pm EST, after he has had a chance to thoroughly review it.

“I am gratified we prevailed. This won’t be the final round, as this will ultimately be decided by the Supreme Court, but today is a critical milestone in the protection of the Constitution,” said Cuccinelli. The judge’s ruling is posted here:
