The number of Democrat lawmakers who've decided to skip the inauguration - thus making a show of their irrelevance - keeps climbing. We'll have an update on their tantrum/meltdown/hissy fit in a bit. For now, let's see what President-Elect Donald Trump thinks of their oh-so-inspirational boycott.
....hmmmm. Turns out, he doesn't think much about it at all.
In fact, if they're going to skip it, he'd really just like to get their tickets back.
If the President is looking for a few more guests, I have a suggestion. Give the tickets to veterans and wounded warriors.
I know I'm by no means the first person to offer this idea, but it's a solid move - both morally and politically. These are people who, unlike the boycotting Dems, have actually done something worthwhile to serve and protect their country and their Constitution. Reward their sacrifices because it's the right thing to do. At the same time, you place a spotlight on just how feckless most left-wing legislators really are.
It's win-win. Make it happen.
