"Politics is so unpredictable. Whoever runs has to recognize that the American political system is probably the most difficult, even brutal, in the world.”You heard her. The United States political system is probably the most brutal in the world. If Hillary is to be believed, things in the U.S. are "probably more brutal" for would-be female politicians than they are in countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Libya, Rwanda, and Somalia. It's tougher than Venezuela, Cuba, El Salvador, Mexico and even Columbia - a country that's endured at least 25 politically-motivated assassinations since 1985. Never mind female political figures like Aung San Suu Kyi, Malala Yousafzai, Indira Gandhi, Benazir Bhutto, Hanifa Safi, and Sushmita Banerjee. They're all just minor leaguers. Hillary? Hillary has it rough because she's presumably going to make a run for the White House here in the United States. This is where the real "hardball" politics are played. Heck, sometimes, once in a great while, a member of the U.S. press corps might even ask you a difficult question! There are a million reasons why Hillary Clinton should never be allowed to sit in the Oval Office, but the fact that she actually seems to believe that she lives in the "most brutal" political system on Earth should serve as "Exhibit A."
