Hillary: These hateful Republicans wanting to deny refugees because of religion is a new low

She'll say anything. We all know that, right? And not that she's the sharpest tool in the shed, but she certainly knows that any reluctance to take Muslim refugees has to do with this troubling tendency toward jihad rather than a preference for the Bible over the Koran (however much that preference may be justified). So when she tries to make it sound like that's all this is about, she's both lying and being incredibly stupid, so what does that make her? Why, it makes her Hillary Clinton, of course:

I realize Rupert Murdoch's suggestion that we only take "proven Christians" can't possibly be made to work in any practical sense, but surely even Hillary understands what's behind it. It's not complicated. You take 5,000 Christians, the number of them who will engage in any sort of terrorism or jihad is basically guaranteed to be zero. Take 5,000 Muslims? Same question? No one can be sure, but it only needs to be a few and you've potentially got another Paris on your hands in the U.S. That's the problem, and that's what the talk about halting refugees is designed to address. You can pretend it's all about religious discrmination if you want - and if you're Hillary Clinton you surely will because what the hell do you care what the truth is? But everyone who's paying attention knows that's not what it is at all. Then again, I don't think it's people who are paying attention that Hillary is counting on to put her in the White House, so I suppose in that twisted respect this makes perfect sense.
