Hillary wants the U.S. to lead the world ...in accepting Syrian refugees

Democrats don't want us to lead economically, militarily, or morally. They pay lip service to wanting us to lead scientifically, but they never miss a chance to slash NASA's budget in favor of their various social-engineering programs. They're not interested in seeing us lead the world in terms of personal liberty or wealth either. However, they have found one place where they do want us to lead.

Having solved all of the domestic issues her party has created, Hillary Clinton wants us to lead the world in accepting Syrian refugees. As the Wall Street Journal reports:

“I want the United States to lead the world,” she said during an appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday. “The United States has to do more,” she said. She said the U.S. needs to react more vigorously to the stream of millions of refugees from Syria pouring into Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, and more recently into Europe. “We’re facing the worst refugee crisis since the end of World War II,” she said. “I would like to see us move from what is a good start with 10,000, to 65,000, and begin immediately to put into place the mechanisms for vetting the people that we would take in, looking to really emphasize some of those who are most vulnerable,” she said.

If the past is any indication, "vetting a refugee" will probably mean determining "he hates our country and he'll vote Democrat once we give him amnesty." Hillary's plan would have represented a big jump from the numbers previously announced by the administration. That blueprint was to accept approximately 30,000 refugees in two years. However, John “nuke deal” Kerry bumped those numbers at almost the exact moment that Mrs. Clinton threw down the gauntlet. As Reuters reports:

The United States will increase the number of refugees it takes in by 15,000 over each of the next two years, bringing the total to 100,000 by 2017, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said after talks with his German counterpart on Sunday.

Fortunately, we're not a near-bankrupt debtor nation with a massive homeless and unemployment problem. If we were, we might have to think twice about this. Video via the Daily Caller
