Let many Gavin Newsoms , Liz Cheneys, Mitt Romneys awaken to the will of the people. Let the grassfires of recall mania be lit throughout all of America!

Home Grown, Grassroots, Organic Californian “Recall Mania”

Near the end of March, at the end of an article entitled: “Recall Newsom; Recall All Democrat Dictators,” I made a serious proposition that “Those in each state who love freedom can recall their own tyrants!” Well. it seems that prior to that, Californians all over the state had already started their own initiatives at what political consultant, Steve Frank, calls “Recall Mania.” Frank is the editor and publisher of California Political Review, and he has written a number of articles on the seemingly organic efforts all over California to recall bad actors in government positions at various levels. Also, the effort is not just limited to conservatives, but the Democrats are jumping on board the “Recall Mania” that Frank has identified.

Elitist Democrats have already circled the wagons around the pampered Party oligarch

Certainly, the effort of the recall initiative is impressive in and of itself; however, elitist Democrats have already circled the wagons around the pampered Party oligarch, and the initial wave of defensive media coverage has been disseminated through favorable MSM outlets. There are obvious examples of this effort, which may be ongoing as the procedures play out over time. Apparently, another method of fighting the recall would be a time-honored tactic of churning litigation ad infinitum to wear down any opposition or drag the proceedings out over an extended period of time - perhaps dragging it out until after Thanksgiving to the end of November this year. So, in a follow-up article, the advice provided was about “Holding the Line on the Recall of Gov. Gavin Newsom.” In that article, it was pointed out that if anyone is considering retreating from such an effort to read, or re-read, the book by California legislator Kevin Kiley to “Recall Newsom.” Yet, the “Recall Mania” efforts across the state are spreading like California wildfires that are being instigated in various regions for various reasons. According to Steve Frank, it is a phenomenon picking up momentum. In San Luis Obispo County, there is an effort to recall three of seven members serving on the board of education of Lucia Mar Unified School District, which is the largest school district in the county. The issue being raised is that students have spent most of 2020 “learning” online from home due to COVID-19 lockdowns. Parents in this area, who care about the education of their children believe that prolonged distance learning could have lasting “negative effects on the children’s mental and physical health.” On May 4, Central Coast Families for Education Reform, a group formed through Facebook around six months ago, announced their plans to recall board members Colleen Martin, Dee Santos, and Donald Stewart. Another recall effort is unique in that both conservatives and progressives want to get rid of San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin. He has been the target of a recall since former Republican mayoral candidate Richie Greenberg initiated the endeavor in January concerned over the safety of local city inhabitants. Apparently, after a parolee had been released from police custody without charges, the individual killed two people according to local law enforcement authorities. The online petition against Boudin will be permitted until August 11 to collect 51,325 signatures. However, the latest development is that a campaign called “San Franciscans for Public Safety,” has made a similar argument against Boudin for “failing to keep San Franciscans safe.” But, this campaign is being led by two prominent Democrats Mary Jung and Andrea Shorter. According to Michael Barba of the SF Examiner, Shorter claimed the “new campaign is meant to cast a broader net for San Franciscans who may be interested in recalling Boudin but do not want to be “affiliated” with the earlier effort. She said she supports criminal justice reform, but not at the expense of public safety.” Logical? -- or, an effort to derail the initial recall effort? Time will tell.

California is suffering from corrupt leadership

Among others across the state, another effort is the recall notice that has been given to the controversial mayor of Calexico, CA. Recently, current Mayor Rosie Fernandez was served with recall papers. A local grassroots group known as “CalexicoNeedsChange” made and posted a video of Mr. Gilberto Manzanarez serving the papers. According to a report from Wiley Jawhary of local NBC News 11 on May 8, “Manzanarez says he first initiated a recall push against Fernandez after her 2019 arrest for driving under the influence.” Apparently, the CHP arrested Fernandez for DUI in July of 2019 after a traffic accident. She pleaded guilty to the charges in January of 2020, and served probation and community service, but managed to retain a seat on the City Council. Then, after former Calexico Mayor Pro Tem David Romero, and former commissioner Bruno Suarez-Soto were arrested on bribery charges, Fernandez was named Mayor by the City Council. “Manzanarez says he, and other local activists, have opposed that decision from the beginning,” reported Jawhary. The locals have become vocal in opposition to corrupt city policies and politicians. While it may seem easy to be judgmental of a tiny town in southern California that is suffering from corrupt leadership, one needs to consider that much of the entire state of California is suffering from corrupt leadership -- from Governor Newsom on down the line. It takes guts to stand one’s ground and reverse the old adage that you “cannot fight City Hall.” For far too long, American citizens have simply trusted in the political system that they had inherited. But, after the election of 2016, much of what had been hidden in the shadows has been exposed to the noonday sun. At least, those who were paying attention to the recent political idiosyncrasies and outright corruption have awakened to such injustices. Others do not care or are too afraid to take responsibility for problems that need to be repaired.

People who were paying attention are no longer accepting the lame excuses of elitists and leech-like politicians

Since the days of President Trump’s Administration, there are at least two points of view that were passed on to the public who cared to pay attention to the truth. First, Trump saw the corruption, and he helped to open people’s eyes to see it for themselves. Of course, those who have eyes to see, will see. Those who have no will to see, their eyes are of no value. Second, Trump showed the people that they did not have to accept excuses for how things in the political realm could not get done. Trump saw the problems, but he did not accept that repairs would take too long, or would not be possible to accomplish. People who were paying attention are no longer accepting the lame excuses of elitists and leech-like politicians who have a different standard of effectiveness than someone who truly wants to solve serious problems. Such politicians are leeches upon the body politic and usually do not want to fix any problems -- they want to exacerbate them, or drag them out for as long as possible. It is because as long as there are problems, there will be a need for politicians telling people they plan to fix the problems. Yet, there is no real motivation to fix much at all. American citizens are becoming more and more aware of self-serving politicos who desire to help themselves or their families at the expense of others. The real pandemic facing America are those politicians who prey upon the people to steal their health and their freedoms. The true vaccine for such a national illness may just be recall mania. The class of elitists and leeches need to be recalled in every chance true citizens get at turning them out of office as soon as possible. Let many Gavin Newsoms awaken to the will of the people. Let many Liz Cheneys awaken to the will of the people. Let many Mitt Romneys awaken to the will of the people. Let the grassfires of recall mania be lit throughout all of America!
