It was a photo that broke more than a few hearts over summer and went viral.
But it was that shot of two dogs locked up in a pound about to be put down that actually saved their lives. The dogs, Kala and Keira were seen together in the snap shared in June by the Atlanta, Georgia, charity Angels Among Us Pet Rescue on Facebook. Read more:
