Well played, WaPo.

Hillary doesn't like being forced into situations where she'll have to answer uncomfortable questions about her income, her age, her whiteness, her status as "America's inevitable President," or about rampant accusations of highly illegal influence pedaling while she was Secretary of State. So, she's not crazy about the press. In fact, for almost a month she's been avoiding the media like it's patient zero of the zombie apocalypse.
That's a screen grab of the WaPo's "Hillary question timer," and it's been running online since last week. For the record, the last time the smartest woman in the world answered a question from the media was April 21, 2015, at approximately 3 p.m.
Frankly, this is great news. We're going to have to listen to her caterwauling for the next two years, so we'll take all the silence we can get. Heck, we won't even get into how sad it is that - even when she's not in office - she and Bill are relentlessly dogged by scandal and the stench of criminality.
Can she make it a whole month without a response to the growing list of "inconvenient issues?" Will she really go 30 days without addressing the "vast right wing conspiracy" that's trying to derail her rightful ascension to the throne? We hope so.
The clock is ticking.View Comments
