I'm No Holy Roller But Invading Churches Is Unholy

I'm no holy roller. However, I firmly feel places of worship are off limits to trespassing, violence and of all things, political protest.

When I see Black people, of all people, invading a church service, including an ordained pastor/attorney, it reminds me of historic intimidation our places of worship faced from racists.

This lesson seems lost on some Black people aligned with the left.

Rationalizing intimidation tactics against praying people is a fall from grace few would expect to see from members of our community, notably commentator Don Lemon.

Lemon's once-moderate advocacy no longer resembles moderation since entering independent journalism.

Church security is something I take very seriously, so seriously that I wish the breeched sanctuary had volunteer or professional protectors to immediately respond to this incursion.

Or in the absence of designated protection, my next wish was that parishioners had risen up to secure their sanctuary.

Going forward, I hope this congregation takes steps to secure their church

Had Don Lemon and protesters picked a pro-2A church or an unarmed, assertive congregation, they would've falsely complained about feeling 'threatened' or 'manhandled.'

There is no First Amendment 'right' to disrupt church services, something Lemon should know full well.

The announced US Department of Justice Civil Rights Division investigation into his actions has made him aware of the severity of such actions.

The cultural corrosion of leftism has rotted rock solid reverence for places of worship in our community, alongside other segments of society.
