May the sacred truths lead America to Independence once again!

Independence Day and holding to the sacred, self-evident truths

On July 4, 2015, I posted an article entitled: “Independence Day and being a true American”. It was a long time before the real intensity of the 2016 presidential campaign. In looking back upon 2015, one realizes that America has changed so radically in just a six-year period. At the time, I was very involved in promoting and protecting candidate Ben Carson. In the article, it is apparent that there was an awareness of a serious battle in the United States. In 2015, prior to Independence Day, nine innocent Christians were brutally murdered at the Emanuel AME church in Charleston, in South Carolina. It shocked Christians and other good-hearted people across the nation.

Effort to erase America’s history

That slaughter was easily viewed as a 21-year-old man acting out of hatred with a racist agenda, but it became one more plank in the Democrat Party’s mantra of rampant racism existing in the nation. It eventually evolved into the mantra of systemic racism. The George Floyd murder at the end of May launched a campaign of violence and rioting across the nation despite the COVID-19 lockdown mandates for the rest of the citizens. This violence was based upon the false mantra of systemic racism, and the terrorist arm of the Black Lives Matter organization led the Democrat-condoned violence. In 2015, after one man acting on his own volition prompted the calls for the removal of the Confederate flag from government and public locations. It was as if the flag itself were the source of racism and the cause of such a heinous and senseless attack. This morphed into the defacing, destruction, and tearing down of statues in the summer months of 2020. Just the other day, in a joint effort, Republicans and Democrats voted to remove confederate statues from the U.S. Capitol. So the Left now has the congressmen doing their bidding. In such a ridiculous display of collective virtue-signalling, these so-called “leaders” are being led by the vociferous Leftist thought leaders who have instilled the false narrative of systemic racism in their feeble minds. It must be wondered whether such “leaders” believe that the statues can be that dangerous. Are statues that powerful that they can cause the “leaders” to tremble in their shadows? Are the statues being viewed as the source of systemic racism? House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy, pointed out that all of the statues were of ancient Democrats, which may have been the only clarity coming from such a ridiculous display of self-centered political posturing and pontificating. If Congress acts to remove statues it is considered legal and all well and good. But, if domestic terrorists tear down the statues it is considered lawlessness. Both actions are symbolic of the effort to erase America’s history. Is it possible that Democrats who are racists today would want to bury the statues of their ancestors who were the true cause of genuine systemic racism? It is possible that the Democrats, if they can be truly identified or linked with their ancestral counterparts, may be politically and socially embarrassed -- even harmed -- by such memories, which they are deliberately trying to erase. But, what harm could come from statues, or the Confederate flag, for that matter?

Young people do not deserve to be fed lies and false narratives of Critical Race Theory in the schools because it is just another form of racism

First of all, the memories need to remain, and because people being people, have a tendency to forget, statues provoke the process of remembering -- like the concentration camps of Hitler that have been preserved so that we should never forget the horrible atrocities man can wreak upon one’s fellow human beings. We need to not forget our past so we may grow and improve and be better renditions of human beings as we move on beyond the past mistakes into the future. Just as progressive-revisionist historians in America attempt to re-write the history of these United States, and poison the younger generations with their false narratives and mantras of systemic racism, true American citizens, who revere the truth, need to pro-actively proclaim the truth. Secondly, decent American citizens, who revere the truth, need to demand the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth in our schools, in our media, in the realms of science and health and medicine, and in those people we elect to become the so-called “leaders” of our nation. It is the honest American citizens, who revere the truth, who must remember and call attention to the crimes of the past because racism still exists within the Party that perpetuated systemic racism in those Confederate States of America where it was solidified in the Black Codes and Jim Crow laws. Young people deserve to know the truth because one day, when this plague of a nefarious political party has subsided, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth will make all of us free again. Young people do not deserve to be fed lies and false narratives of Critical Race Theory in the schools because it is just another form of racism. It is actually quite ingenious of the Democrats - yes? So, this is why I was reflecting on 2015 on the threshold of Independence Day in 2021. It is why I recall a portion of what I wrote then as a way of reminding Americans the truth of our history as we approach our nation’s birthday...

Upon the secession of South Carolina and the creation of the Confederate States of America, this separatist government drafted a new constitution. Among the authors of that radical constitution was Alexander Stephens, a Democratic congressman from Georgia. In a famous speech, referred to as the Cornerstone Speech, he outlined the purpose of this constitution: “The new constitution has put at rest all of the agitating questions relating to Our peculiar institution, African slavery. This was the immediate cause of the late rupture and present revolution … The prevailing ideas entertained by him [Thomas Jefferson] and most of the leading statesmen at the time of the Formation of the old constitution, were that the enslavement of the African was in violation of the laws of nature; that it was wrong in principle, socially, morally, and politically. It was an evil they knew not well how to deal with. But the general opinion of the men of that day was that somehow or other in the order of Providence, the institution would … pass away. Those ideas, however, were fundamentally wrong. They rested upon the assumption of the equality of races. This was an error.” Our new government is founded upon exactly the opposite idea; its cornerstone rests upon the great truth that the negro is not equal to the white man, that slavery subordination to the superior race is his natural and normal condition. Thus, our new government, is the first, in the history of the world, based upon this great physical, philosophical, and moral truth.”

All were endowed by the Creator with the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness

Thus Stephens articulated the attitude of the political leadership across the South and the ideological essence of the Confederate government... This Cornerstone Speech truly represents core beliefs of the old Confederacy… As Stephens said, these beliefs were the exact opposite of the core of beliefs that created the United States of America.
So, this reflection should help patriots today reflect more deeply on the value of Independence Day in 2021. As we celebrate our nation’s birthday, it is crucial that we understand that the Party promoting Critical Race Theory throughout our nation is just as racist now as it was in 1861. Any one race is not supreme -- yet, those who propose Critical Race Theory today, are advocating a different form of racism -- targeting one race. Confederate Democrats were absolutely racist in their comprehension of the Declaration of Independence. And today, the Socialist Democrats are still as racist. They still reject the self-evident truths of the Declaration of Independence that all people were created equal, and that all were endowed by the Creator with the unalienable rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Once again It is time to hold to those truths! May the sacred truths lead America to Independence once again!
