Is Our Illegal Immigration Problem Another Example of “Smash and Grab”?

There is an epidemic within and without the United States. Within the United States we have retail establishments being invaded by “Smash and Grab” hooligans and thieves, and at our border we have a “Smash and Grab” problem by illegal aliens invading our country . Our government, by its lax immigration policies, have encouraged this illegal migrant invasion by promising free everything, including a free trip to any city in the country, free cell phones, free education, free food, free healthcare and the future prize of becoming a U.S. citizen. Are we dumb or what? Don't our incompetent leaders realize that when you reward bad behavior, you get more bad behavior?

Biden Administration who have given the “blind eye” to the lawlessness at our southern border

The politicians who run many of our cities and towns, mainly run by Democrats, have by their actions of undermining our law and order system, have caused a major epidemic of lawlessness by mostly young people who have been organized, through social media, the destruction of businesses and causing mayhem. 

Since the penalties of breaking the law have become almost non-existent, it has encouraged the lawless behavior on the part of those marauders. The same could be said about the policies of the Biden Administration who have given the “blind eye” to the lawlessness at our southern border. 

The illegal entry into our country has become a major problem, not only at the border, but in many cities and towns around the country into which the illegal hordes are being sent, and are finding out this lax immigration policy by the Biden Administration, has made life “hell” for their own American citizens, and rightly so.

One has to wonder what goes through the minds of our political leaders when they embrace these lunatic policies that cause havoc in their cities and towns. In California, for instance, they have a law that people can steal and rob merchandise up to $950, with only a misdemeanor penalty if they are caught, and by which most George Soros backed district attorneys routinely dismiss out of hand, giving the perpetrators a free “get out jail card”. Again, how dumb is that? 

Rewarding bad behavior begets more bad behavior

Most of these illegal behaviors are perpetrated by teens who realize that there is practically no penalty for breaking the law. Again, rewarding bad behavior begets more bad behavior. Duh!

As to the illegals who have entered our country, we wonder if they have the intention of becoming upstanding citizens or are they just going to free load off our generosity? It has been reported that many of the young men who have crossed our border are men who have criminal records from whence they came, many from communist Venezuela. Also, many of the illegals are complaining that they are not getting the benefits from our country that they deem that they deserve. How ungrateful can those people be after breaking our immigration laws? 

It is estimated that since Joe Biden took office, over 6 million have crossed our border who have been encountered by the Border Patrol, but that figure doesn't factor in the number of “gotaways” that most assuredly will inflate that 6 million figure.

In addition, we've had an extraordinary influx of illegal drugs, mainly Fentanyl, which has killed thousands of people, mainly young unsuspecting people looking for a quick high, but finding death instead.

When will common sense prevail in our governments, on the federal and state levels? We can't, as a nation, continue with these insane destructive policies much longer. Without a secure border we will no longer be a country, we will just be a way station for anyone who wants to take advantage of our good will and largess.

Yes, elections have consequences, so it is important to elect political leaders who will do the right thing in stemming this lawless behavior, both with our own citizens, and with the foreign invaders. Let your views be heard come the election in 2024. Elect people who will support the enforcement of our laws, otherwise we'll become the kind of country most of the illegals are fleeing from.
