The Bible clearly says we’re supposed to love everybody, no matter what. That includes racists, sexists, “deplorables,” and all the rest. But do you think you’d be able to do it?

“Two lesbians at Texas State University a couple years ago [asked me], ‘Do you love racists?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely, I love racists. I hate racism. I do not affirm racism, but I affirm the fact that those racists are human beings created in the image of God.’”
