JD Vance joins Tucker Carlson for a sit-down interview

The Democrats’ most common talking point is that a vote for them is a vote for democracy.

But is that genuine?

A “democracy” is defined by the rule of the majority, but that party’s priorities of open borders and endless foreign interventions are so out of line with what most Americans want that it’s impossible to take their grandstanding seriously. You can’t honestly purport to represent “democracy” if your aims are that misaligned from the public’s.

JD Vance is emphasizing this obvious irony as he travels the country with Donald Trump, and it’s working; recent polling shows the Republican ticket leading in nearly every swing state. Vance recently sat down with Tucker for an exclusive campaign interview, and it was just released.

JD Vance tells Tucker:

“Why aren’t we deporting illegal aliens? Why aren’t we cutting off the money spigot that goes to illegal aliens? Why aren’t we stopping sending thousands of American kids to die overseas in some pointless war? It’s because, in reality, right now we don’t live in a real democracy… The people who call the shots in this county have further and further divorced themselves from any kind of real democratic accountability.”
