About the spiritual issues, I'll just say this: If your life really belongs to Jesus, I don't have to explain to you what's wrong with this. If it doesn't, it's useless to try because you'll say something like "Come on, lighten up, don't take it so seriously, etc." and I'll quickly recognize it's a waste of time explaining it to you. This video is no longer available.
The point is that all these narratives were crafted long ago when she was still relatively new on the scene and it was easier to sell them to people paying only scant attention, or to people so taken by romantic notions like these that they would be willing (and probably still are willing) to overlook the obvious load of crap that is every word of it. So it only makes sense that liberal women sing hymns of worship to Hillary, whose political persona is every bit as mythical as most of them probably think Jesus is. And it makes sense that Hillary stands there and lets them do it. Because deep in her soul, Hillary has to sell this crap to herself every day, and the crooning of a choir can only help. Actually I suspect it's not nearly enough, as Hillary of all people knows what a fraud she is. But she can probably buy the notion that the great unwashed would be influenced by it. So yeah. Sing. Give praise. Alleluiah! It's still better than listening to her speak.View Comments
