John McCain: Other than Benghazi, Hillary’s work at the State Department was ‘outstanding’

There are days when I assume I've heard it all from John McCain. I figure "sure we have lots of problems, but at least McCain can't sink any lower." Then, he finds a way to prove me wrong.

Today he did so by praising Hillary Clinton to Bloomberg news.
“I don’t think there’s any doubt that Secretary Clinton would be a very strong candidate,” McCain said of the former secretary of state, senator from New York and first lady. “I don’t think there’s any doubt she has widespread support. Her work as secretary of state, with the exception of this issue of Benghazi — which isn’t going away — I think has been outstanding. I think she would be viewed by anyone, Republican or Democrat, as a very formidable candidate for 2016.”
So, according to McCain, if you just overlook that little bit of nastiness in Libya, Hillary did a great job at the State Department. McCain made the comments this morning in Chicago, after a breakfast appearance with Senator Dick Durbin in Chicago. Their public show of unity was designed to help further their amnesty push. Y'know, since he just can't bear to stop hob knobbing with his supposed opponents. McCain also said that “Being a loser I’m not sure what I have to say would be very impactful.” We think the "loser" thing might be a reference to his miserable 2008 campaign but, honestly, it's getting harder and harder to be sure. Please, John. Just stop talking.
