Judging the Judges

The Hatch Act covers the penalties for patrician political actions on the job, including impeachment

Where is it documented that some rogue US District Court judge can restrict or stop the President or his staff’s day to day operations of the government conducted in accordance with the Constitution? I would always support the right of a citizen to file a law suit against the government. However, common sense must be applied by the judge not to hinder government operations simply based on someone filing an unsubstantiated law suit.

It has to be acknowledged that well-funded individuals or organization could potentially file enough law suits to prevent the government from operating at all. Any federal judge who has been awake for the last four years should be able to recognize that any excessive use of the courts in regard to President Trump is pure ideological lawfare, not well intentioned honest questioning of policy.

Having said that, it must also be acknowledged that there are rogue federal judges who don’t give a rip about their constitutional obligation and the oath they took when they assumed office. All government employees, including federal judges, are supposed to leave their political ideology at home when they are on the job. Some of these judges are, in reality, co-conspirators in an effort to thwart the government from uncovering illegal activities in the corrupt federal bureaucracy. The House of Representatives needs to be investigating federal judges who repeatedly have their opinion overturned by higher courts

Any federal judge who has had his/her rulings overturned on a regular basis by higher courts should be investigated for potential impeachment. These judges are either incompetent or political ideologues who have no business sitting on a federal bench.

It will be interesting to see when the United States Supreme Court steps in to resolve the ongoing lawfare against the Trump administration.

For the last half century, Republican Presidents have focused on appointing federal judges who are originalists, that is, who are mindful of the United States Constitution. On the other hand, Democrat Presidents have focused on appointing left leaning ideologues and activist judges who put things other than the Constitution first, much to the detriment of the country.

Patrick Henry nailed it. We are now seeing a certain degree of judicial tyranny with the lawfare against Trump and DOGE operations. The House of Representatives needs to be investigating federal judges who repeatedly have their opinion overturned by higher courts. Then when appropriate, they need to be issuing a Bill of Impeachment for judges who have forgotten or ignore their obligation under the United States Constitution.
