Just how deep and entrenched is the Deep State?

A genuine irony exists today despite widespread mainstream media silence, in that a broader spectrum of Americans are beginning to realize that a Deep State of political elitists and a real Criminal Cabal exists at the core of the United States government. This entity, no matter how it is identified is only slowly coming out of the shadows and into the light. Nevertheless, public exposure and identification of the core criminal elements is a slow and arduous process. This identification process may be the initial step, and seminal effort to destroy the nerve center that has been entrenched in the proverbial swamp in Washington politics.

The very first step in that process of identification was the election of Donald J. Trump as president of the United States in 2016. Such an unusual series of politically motivated events surrounded the election in an aura of awe and shock. Hillary Clinton and the “Democratic” National Committee rigged the “Democratic” primary process, which later brought out the Bernie Sanders’ arm of the Party to sue their own DNC. Later, American citizens learned that although Trump was publically sworn to abide by the election results on national television, the Democrats were under no such constraints. The whining and then the street theater by the Democrat “Brown Shirts,” and the ranting by the MSM media “stars” represented a phase of rejection of the election results that fell flat. Then Americans began learning of a shadow government within the federal government-- consisting of those unelected bureaucrats that remain in their jobs despite the winds of political change that may bring a new political party and new players into the halls of Washington’s cumbersome and powerful bureaucracy. Americans learned through the MSM that there was alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and those dastardly Russians. However, what the MSM conveniently refused to cover was the Deep State intelligence operatives who had colluded with a British foreign agent who had been hired for his “professional” services to create suspicion over Trump and his campaign. Americans learned of the term Deep State despite denial of the major MSM outlets. In March of 2017 in this time frame of the Deep State emerging into public consciousness, Max Fisher, a New York Times columnist, claimed the deep state is not real. He also warned that there would be real consequences for blaming the Trump’s administrative problems on the deep state if it does not exist. (“What Happens When You Fight a ‘Deep State’ That Doesn’t Exist?”—March 10, 2017). Unfortunately, Mr. Fisher did not provide information on the consequences regarding the genuine existence of a Deep State within the federal bureaucracy.

Despite MSM silence, or follow up denial of the existence of the Deep State

Of course, Americans are seeing that drama play out right in front of their eyes, as long as they do not rely on the media elites that are entrenched in the Deep State. One interesting point regarding this is that Breitbart reported in December of 2018, in an article entitled, “James Comey: ‘There’s No Deep State,’” Former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Comey, denied the existence of the Deep State even that late into the Deep State drama. According to the Breitbart article, “Comey was asked by Rep. Elijah E. Cummings (D-Md.) for suggestions on how the nation should get back ‘on track’ after the ‘storm’ it is currently weathering…” a jab aimed at Trump’s presidency. Following such a prompt, James Comey offered “a mini-speech about the resilience of America, while insisting there is no “deep state” and urging people to speak out…” That is good advice to American citizens--speak out against the Deep State, and the likes of shadowy characters like Comey. Despite MSM silence, or follow up denial of the existence of the Deep State, American citizens are getting bits and pieces of the overall puzzle of this insidious un-American leviathan that exists in the core of the proverbial swamp in our nation’s capital city. Since the beginning of the Trump presidency, much has been written about the shadowy alternative government operatives of the “Deep State.” Many conservative news sources have continually warned Americans about the organized opposition against Donald Trump’s presidency, and essentially the American Republic.

Twist to the Deep State drama

A very interesting twist to the Deep State drama that recently resurfaced was the revelation that James Comey was a former Communist or Communist sympathizer. In a 2003 article in New York Magazine. Former FBI Director Comey owned up to having once supported Communist ideas. What is equally interesting is that John Brennan, former head of the Central Intelligence Agency, also admitted that he had sympathized with the Communist ideology. According to an interview between former CIA director John Brennan and CNN Reporter Tal Kopan in 2016, the former intelligence chief admitted he had voted for the Communist Party presidential candidate Gus Hall. According to the interview, Brennan offered the admission during a panel discussion at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual conference. Apparently at the conference, Brennan responded to a question about barriers to recruiting diverse candidates for the intelligence agencies, which would include whether past activism would hinder someone’s chances for security service positions later in life. Brennan then disclosed that when he first applied to join the CIA, and received his polygraph test, he was asked the standard question: “Have you ever worked with or for a group that was dedicated to overthrowing the US?” Brennan related: “I froze... This was back in 1980, and I thought back to a previous election where I voted, and I voted for the Communist Party candidate." So, the contemporary answer is that anyone can apply to the FBI or CIA, no matter what race, ethnicity, or insidious belief system to undermine the United States of America. What connection is there here? As it was way back in the 1970s? Well, for those who have not been paying close attention, the Democrats are dragging John Dean back to resurrect the stench of Watergate and attempt to attach it to President Trump. The Democrats also had no qualms about resurrecting decades old, unproven allegations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh. So why not look into the ties James Comey had with the Communist Party? Why not look into the ties John Brennan had with the Communist Party?

If the Democrats are so comfortable with witch hunts, why don’t the Congressional Republicans start their own subcommittee investigations into why two chiefs of the most important intelligence-gathering agencies were former Communist sympathizers. There is good reason. Both have been involved in the efforts to reverse the results of a legitimate presidential election, in the efforts to undermine the Trump candidacy, the Trump presidency, and the overall efforts to undermine the Republic. Is this all just some quaint coincidence? Few will know unless Congress acts to bring up serious investigations on the Deep State. It would be a start. This week, in addition to celebrating President Trump’s birthday, the U.S. Army celebrates its own date of birth on June 14th. It is time that citizens start taking an active role to volunteer as activists on the grassroots level. Citizens need to join patriotic, conservative, or faith-based organizations that are not afraid to stand up in support of the Republic! Grassroots citizen organizations exist all over the nation, and they need to start networking and cooperating in concrete and meaningful, not simply symbolic, activities to expose the bad actors, to shed light on corruption, to initiate recall actions to nullify the destructive, treasonous actions of bureaucrats and elected officials who have no place in leading America. As a people, we seem more worried about the physical pollution in the nation, but less worried about the pollution and eradication of our founding ideals. Such founding principles and values at the bedrock of our society are in the process of being destroyed by people who easily rise to power, even without standing before the electorate and being sincere about what they truly believe. It is time for Americans to no longer ignore the Deep State, but to dig deeper, and to uncover the greater slime at the core of the Swamp. Democrats and bureaucrats have shown that they love investigations. Citizens need to demand them, for the swamp needs to be drained. Justice needs to roll through the nation's capital city for Americans to truly have hope that America can be great again.
