"I proudly support the Heartland Institute's Fourth International Climate Conference, and were it not for votes on the Senate floor today, I would have delivered my speech in Chicago at the conference," Senator Inhofe said. "Taxpayer-funded science should be open and transparent. All voices and perspectives should be heard, because cap-and-trade advocates support policies that would cost trillions of dollars and millions of jobs, with virtually no climate benefits.
