(CNSNews.com) -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, while testifying before a Senate panel, said the United States’s southwest border is “as secure now as it has ever been.” “I say this again as someone who has walked that border,” she said. “I’ve ridden that border. I’ve flown it. I’ve driven it. I know that border I think as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been."Once again, the Obama Administration refuses to defend American citizens from attacks by third-world neighbors to the south. Is there a more definitive example of treason? Brian Terry was an American hero who did his part to protect America and American citizens, despite the reluctance of Napolitano and Obama to do the right thing. The brutal murder of Brian Terry must be a wake-up call to all the U.S. Senate: Our border with Mexico is porous and a threat to American sovereignty and rule of law. Congress must not pass DREAM or any other amnesty bill that rewards criminals for invading America. We are supposed to be a nation of laws and legislation like DREAM undercuts our commitment to rule of law and ultimately leads to violent acts which cost Americans like Brian Terry their very lives. Secure the borders, kill the DREAM Act, and end any and all talk of amnesty for invading criminals. Do so in honor of Brian Terry!
