Know God, know civilization. No God, no civilization
In a recent CFP piece by Dr. Robert R. Owens, the art work for the article included the words “Know God, Know Peace.” Granted it is a bumper sticker slogan, but it conveys a lot of wisdom. Looking at western “civilization” (quotations are used because I wonder how civilized westerners are right now) in 2022, there is room for many more comparisons that apply to what we consider western civilization. Please consider the following:
Know God, know peace. No God, no peace. Know God, know family. No God, no family. Know God, know justice. No God, no justice. Know God, know law and order. No God, no law and order. Know God, know love. No God, no love. Know God, know marriage. No God, no marriage. Know God, know life is sacred. No God, no life is sacred. Know God, know all lives matter. No God, no lives matter. Know God, know morality. No God, no morality. Know God, know honor. No God, no honor. Know God, know truth. No God, no truth. Know God, know science. No God, no science. Know God, know humanity. No God, no humanity. Know God, know civilization. No God, no civilization.

As God has been cleansed from our western culture, so has being civilized

I believe I’ve made my point. As God has been cleansed from our western culture, so has being civilized. Western civilization in Europe and in the Americas was built on a foundation of Judeo-Christian morals and values. The undermining of the church and family has also undermined basic civilization and torn down the moral sideboards that once kept our culture civilized. The current level of corruption in government that seems to be acceptable is not civilized. The denial about scientific sexual realities and the child abuse associated with this fad is not civilized. The murder of the unborn by the millions is not civilized. The government’s failure to even try to control drug use and allowing citizens by the tens of thousands to die every year is not civilized.
“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.” ~ Volaire
CFP contributor Linda Goudsmit discusses some other issues where government is working to undermine civilization in the United States today. Since January 20, 2021, the U.S. federal government has been pushing many absurd ideas with too much success. The United States government is complicit, if not responsible, for moving Americans toward participation in some of the unspeakable atrocities perpetrated in America in 2022. Know God, know civilization. No God, no civilization.

In many of these positions I repeatedly took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic.
