The editor of the traditional Catholic blog Messainlatino said during an interview discussing last weekend’s Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage that he heard from an organizer the pilgrimage will no longer be permitted to use the Pontifical Institute Augustinianum for future events.

However, that report has been contradicted by Christian Marquant, president of Coetus Internationalis Summorum Pontificum (CISP), the coalition of Traditional Latin Mass groups that organizes the pilgrimage.

During an interview that aired live on October 27 with the YouTube channel Fede & Cultura Universitas, Messainlatino editor Luigi Casalini recalled his experiences at the 2026 Summorum Pontificum pilgrimage and claimed he was told during the Pax Liturgica Gathering on Friday, October 23, by the pilgrimage’s main organizer that beginning next year the group will not be permitted to use the Augustinianum, which is run by the Augustinians, for that event.

LifeSiteNews has contacted the Augustinianum and is awaiting a response. ---More...
