Maddow blames implosion on viewers who 'expected too much' of over-hyped tax return story
NBC angry and Colbert brutally mocks...

Maddow: You bought into the hype, believed something big was about to drop, thus expected too much
...And it's all your fault, America. According to a statement from Maddow, you bought into the hype, believed something big was about to drop, and thus expected too much. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.Rachel Maddow blames viewers for her Trump tax dud, says people "expected too much" pic.twitter.com/8ATLVe4wLR

Wow. The hubris goes up to eleven. You know, she may actually have a point here. Perhaps it's not her fault that you were tricked by her pompous, over the top, innuendo. Maybe it really is your fault for allowing yourself to think that she had a shred of credibility in the first place. By now, you should know better. She works for MSNBC. It's a network of self-importance and propaganda. If you thought they were suddenly going to abandon that, then Maddow's absolutely correct. This is all on you. Oh, by the way, Stephen Colbert ripped the bizarro Maddow intro segment on his show last night. It's pretty funny, and you can check it out below.
Oooof. Colbert parodies the Maddow flop, complete with a seemingly endless monologue leading up to the eventual "reveal." pic.twitter.com/FvouFigtJG
