As a Black nationalist conservative, I share a critique of the Black mainstream articulated decades ago by famed nationalist Malcolm X and well known conservative Clarence Thomas. They both concluded the Black mainstream looked to White liberals not only for validation, which is bad enough, but salvation, which is infinitely worse.
Joe Biden has become (improbably to open minded observers) the new ‘Zaddy' or White liberal patriarch to whom the Black mainstream pins its hopes, dreams and no small measure of low self esteem. I hate to be harsh but it's one of the major reasons I'm not part of the Black mainstream. Liberal colonization has made it allergic to recognizing liberalism as the number one control mechanism in our midst and nothing more.

I watch Black mainstream friends type and strut like Biden's coronation by the media (White liberal led, btw) means by osmosis they've won the Lottery, Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Championships, Stanley Cup and Olympic Gold combined. I haven't seen this level of White liberal worship since the Black mainstream lovefest with Bill Clinton.
I also note how non-partisan Black nationalists who oppose Biden for being an unreconstructed segregationist, mentored by bitter opponents of the 1964 Civil Rights Act and author of mass incarceration incarnate, the 1994 crime bill, are being turned upon by the very Black mainstream which once turned to them for uncompromised advice.
Mainstream Black folks search for a White Democrat ‘Zaddy' means the work of Reconstruction, in this instance decolonizing the Black mainstream, remains undone and likely undoable.
