38-year-old Mohamed Morray Bangura made a bogus 911 call reporting an argument at a transit center, then ambushed responding Bellevue police officers by pulling a kitchen knife and attacking one.

Two officers arrived and contacted Bangura, who was wearing a beanie and a surgical mask pulled down.
Bodycam video shows Bangura charging an officer, slashing him in the face, and st<>bbing him in the back twice.
A second officer fires three rounds, striking Bangura.
The officer who was injured has since been released and is recovering.
He survived, was treated at Harborview Medical Center, then booked into King County Jail on $5 million bail.
He is currently awaiting a competency evaluation.
