Man Up To “Toxic Masculinity"

As I write this on Father’s Day 2023, it saddens me that for at least the last three decades men have allowed an accelerating denigration of manhood to the point where being a man is considered by some to demonstrate “toxic masculinity.” Hell, our culture is so screwed up America now has a Supreme Court Justice that can’t define what a woman is even though she is one. Even more bizarre is that too much of our culture has been brainwashed into thinking a man can become a woman and a woman can become a man in spite of the fact that it is a biological impossibility. Some even believe a man can become pregnant and have a baby. There is no fooling genetics, a male will be a male and a female will be female from birth to death.

What has happened in the 21st century that now suggests there is such a thing as toxic masculinity? Was it toxic masculinity that caused people to leave Europe and come to North America in the 16th century? Was it toxic masculinity that caused 18th century Americans to decide to establish the United States of America?

The downward spiral of manly men began with Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty

Was it toxic masculinity that caused the United States to save Europe in World War I and the whole world in World War II? Is it toxic masculinity when America responds to help anyone in the world in need after natural disasters? If that’s the case, then there are many nations in the world that need a big dose of the kind of toxic masculinity that made America exceptional for the last 247 years.

Prior to the 1980s, men in America were men and they knew it. However, the downward spiral of manly men began with Lyndon Johnson’s War on Poverty. It started when the Marxists, then hiding in Democrat clothing, nuked the nuclear family by making it more financially advantageous for poor women to get money from the government if there was not man (husband) in the household. The hardest hit were the Black families, but all poor were financially incentivized to have more children and fewer husbands. Thus men were encouraged not to man up and take responsibility for the children they sired. Unfortunately, this mindset has corrupted more than just the poor and is far too prevalent throughout American culture.

When men supported the feminists’ movement they didn’t recognize that the price paid and unintended consequences was their emasculation. Men should support women but not at the price of turning men into Arnold Schwarzenegger’s “girlie men.” So, shame on all men for merrily going along with the psychological castration, in entertainment, advertising, and the culture in general. One last point; only “girlie men” cry in public, real men are stronger than that and reserve their crying for private times.

I know real traditional men are still out there or the movie theaters would be empty when the adventure movies where men are men and they behave as such are showing. And the women that attend these movies are also admiring men who behave as men have throughout history. So men of America, unleash that toxic masculinity that made America the most extraordinary country on the planet and reclaim your rightful place as a man's man. John Wayne would be proud!
