A dire warning from Mary Landrieu

Mary Landrieu says America's future would be damaged it doesn't re-elect Mary Landrieu

"I think we need Senators that will find a common ground and compromise. I’m one of the few that’s left. So getting rid of me and a few other people would not be good for the country and its future."

That's the word from Senator Mary Landrieu (D-LA). She wants you to know that - if the union is to remain strong, vital, and intact, it is of the utmost importance that you not send her packing in November. How much would you like to bet that the nebulous "few other people" she mentions are all Democrats? Curiously absent from her comments was a strong defense of the fact that she was one of the three key votes that made sure we could all live in the magical wonderland that is the United States under ObamaCare. That's weird, because the law is just so darned beloved. You'd think that she'd take the advice offered by Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Nancy Pelosi, and run on its many, many, merits! Maybe she doesn't want to talk about it because the shady way it was passed decimates her "I like to work together" argument. Since the ACA is off the table, she's apparently decided to go with "You'll be sorry if you don't let me keep my job."
