A: Everything in the Corker-Hoeven Amendment is subject to implementation at the hands of Janet Napolitano. If she chooses not to "beef up" the security, it won't happen. She has complete discretion about what, if anything is deployed. Given her track record, it's pretty clear that little will change. B: When arguing in favor of a new law, comparing its effects to the Berlin Wall is probably not the best plan.Here's Senator McCain's appearance, in which he goes on to claim that a refusal to grant illegals amnesty is, in itself, defacto amnesty. Sadly, he neglected to take the opportunity to remind everyone that ignorance is strength, and that we've always been at war with Eastasia.
