Even if truthful republicans can garner a hundred or so House members to vote down this back-stabbing travesty, there is a strong possibility that democrats would support it because it fulfills their wish list, irregardless of their bawling otherwise

McCarthy’s ruse comes to fruition

From the start, Kevin McCarthy must have been aware of the deceit. The die was cast at the outset, going through the motions of 15 rounds to make it look like he capitulated to the People. His actions indicate that he didn’t and never planned to follow through with the compromise.

Knowing America First had been halted in its tracks by congressional races being lost to proven election fraud, McCarthy was prepared to “lead” by barely crossing the line of a majority gain in the House. He played the part of the vanquished to perfection. Holding his cheating cards close to his chest, McCarthy made it look as though he had the chutzpah to face off the administration with go-nowhere bills to enhance border protection, etc. that he knew would never get passed in the Senate.

McCarthy played the hero by creating the façade that he was Biden’s enemy

Biding his time, McCarthy played the hero by creating the façade that he was Biden’s enemy, trying to force the White House to the debt ceiling negotiation table. Nothing looks to be farther from the truth. McCarthy had to be fully aware of the roles each had in bringing the White House’s original no-spending cap budget to finality as a “deal.” Chip Roy said it plainly to Charlie Kirk today, “This is a two-year freeze of Covid level spending.”

By the way, there is no default on servicing the debt. It is covered by actual revenues collected, which is why Treasury Secretary Yellen could so easily back-off her hard deadline of June 1 to go to June 5, 2023. The mantra by the press, the administration and establishment politicians is based on a flat-out lie. Some payments for programs might be delayed, but the debt would be serviced.

The compromise budget passed by the House started out by having no wiggle room for the speaker to concede anything to Biden’s so-called obstinance. The full concessions of raising the debt ceiling had already been made and the proposed cuts were too small to give anything back to the White House. Leverage had already been thrown away at McCarthy’s behest, as he made it appear that he was fighting to stop the spending bleed.

This debt ceiling “deal” is no debt ceiling at all

The ruse was instituted with aplomb, McCarthy saying all the right things to the camera about halting irresponsible spending but knowing that when the White House would say “yes” to negotiations at the last minute, he would have nowhere to go but give away more until nothing was left.

That’s exactly what McCarthy did. But why did he think he could get away with the scheme after supposedly making a compact with America First?

McCarthy understood that any threat to vacate the chair could not carry the whole republican caucus. There were too many sell-outs bankrolled by big donors and the establishment GOP which has ignored the majority of the party that supports the America First agenda. All one need do is revisit the GOP conference in California earlier in the year. The massive populist movement was dispensed with ease by self-indulgent delegates.

This debt ceiling “deal” is no debt ceiling at all. There are no real caps in spending, which was exactly what the White House called for in the $6.8 Trillion budget that wasn’t a budget but a demand for money comprised of allocation of more funds to pet projects.

This deal keeps the cash for 87,000 IRS agents. It keeps the unconstitutional student loan bailout. It keeps the funding for Green New Deal goals – underwriting unreliable, unsustainable solar and wind power, electric vehicles, regulatory nightmares restricting food production and commercial enterprise, and billions more to the money-laundering cemetery plot better known as Ukraine.

This is an underhanded scheme that has been engineered to bring the economy to its knees

Even if truthful republicans can garner a hundred or so House members to vote down this back-stabbing travesty, there is a strong possibility that democrats would support it because it fulfills their wish list, irregardless of their bawling otherwise. And… if Hakeem Jeffries says “oh, okay, we’ll swallow our pride and vote ‘yes,’” then the media will run headlines pushing the “bipartisan” tripe to give cover to McCarthy, Biden, the dems and the establishment GOP.

This is an underhanded scheme that has been engineered to bring the economy to its knees, crushing the lives of Americans under the immovable weight of permanent inflation and brutal regulatory control.

There is no amendment that can fix this travesty and there is no excuse that can be invoked – including the cry that the defense budget can’t be cut – to make this “deal” palatable.

Every American with an ounce of common sense must stand against the debt ceiling deal and call their representatives to vote “NO.” Rasmussen polls show that the majority of Americans would: “Prefer shutdown until spending is cut or capped: All - 54% Rep - 74% Ind - 54% Dem - 36%”

202-225-3121 is the House switchboard. Representatives are required to tabulate responses from constituents so no one can argue that their call won’t make a difference… it will and it does.

To stay silent is to endorse the destruction of our nation.
