This letter wishes to express to all our citizens a warm encouragement to seek out their better character during this end-of-year celebration.
No matter what our position may be, we all need to attempt to demonstrate a willingness to imitate the divine example which God Has shown through His only Begotten Son, to treat our fellow man as we would wish to be treated. Let us all begin to show that love by being kind to someone whom we've not ever shown it to before and I guarantee it will come back to you! And don't let it end there either for the good that you do will come back several times over as it becomes a habit forming way of life. As Jesus once said:
"Give and it will be given to you; good measure, pressed own, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For the measure you give will be the measure you get back!" ( Luke 6:38 )
Even as Christ ultimately gave himself for the world, his example has spread world-wide and has lasted for 2,000 years, soon to culminate in his reward of Salvation to the faithful when he returns. Let us all anticipate his second coming by renewing our acquaintance with God's Word and following His message of faith and works, of honour and worship; in spirit and in truth!
May we all pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
