Michelle Obama to Oprah: 'Now we're feeling what not having hope feels like'
Says you.

A truly extraordinary statement here by Michelle Obama - not just because of its raw partisanship but because it gives away one of the most pernicious secrets of the left: They want people to believe they have no hope absent the beneficent hand of government, pursuing welfare state policies.
All that time her husband was talking about hope, he apparently meant all along that no one should feel any unless he was in charge.
L'etat, c'est moi.
If you feel you have no hope because Donald Trump is about to become president, you are a weak, pathetic loser. You don't believe you have the capacity to take responsibility for your own life, and you depend on politicians like Barack Obama to provide what you need to get through from one day to the next.
Worse: After eight years of Obama promising to make things better for you and failing, you're still willing to believe nonsense like this from his wife.
A strong, confident, capable person is optimistic about his or her life regardless of who holds political power, because he or she expects to achieve and overcome obstacles without the assistance of the state. Such a person has hope all the time, because although things may sometimes go wrong, problems can be solved and hurdles can be cleared.
For eight years, the Obamas told you that you only had hope because of them. Now they want you to think you have none. They are doing you a disservice by talking to you like this.
I believe the new policies Donald Trump will implement will put every American in a better position to succeed. But even if they do not, that is no excuse for anyone to not have hope. Who holds political power should not a determining factor in your success in life. And if you let it be, you have only yourself to blame.
